My name is Elizabeth Gade. My father was Paul Gade who was born in Minnesota and raised in Illinois. His father Edward H. H. Gade was a Missouri Lutheran Pastor who served in various states but died in Illinois. I have traced the family tree back to Germany but have not been able to get any further. I have always wondered if and how my family line might be connected to the Danish composer Neils Gade.
