Hello Texasgurl:
It is good to see that you are getting interested in your ancestry.
The first thing to do is to ask your parents, grandparents, and any other relatives what they know about your older relatives. Look in family Bibles, scrapbooks, anything you can find to give you information on your relatives. Write down all the names and dates of your grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents, etc. You have to do you your own searching for that. Read some articles on how to search your roots.
We are interested in finding a link to families from the 1800's and earlier. My family group was "Germans from Russia."
With that name, we could be linked! There aren't that many!
Get back to us when you get more information to work with, ok?
Have fun in your adventure of searching for your relatives.
