LETTS, Iowa - Wanda Gage, 79, of Letts died Monday, June 11, 2001, at her home following an extended illness.
Services at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction. Burial will be at the Letts Cemetery.
Mrs. Gage was born May 16, 1922, in Columbus Junction, the daughter of LeRoy and Tracy Lowe Ogier. She married James N. Gage Aug. 26, 1945, in Rock Island, Ill.
She was a homemaker and great cook.
She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church and sang in the choir. She was also a 50 year member of TTT.
She worked at the Louisa-Muscatine Elementary and High schools as a secretary. She had also worked at Weber & Huston's, now Lamp Feed and Grain, in Letts.
Survivors include her husband, James; two sons, Larry Gage and his wife, Karen, of Letts and Gary Gage and his wife, Denise, of Wapello; two grandchildren, Kimberly and Melissa; and a great-granddaughter, Brianne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Wayne; and a sister, Iris
