am searching in LaSalle County Illinois, for traces of my ancestors. Looking for anything on my great grandfather Earnest Wagner who came from Germany and married my g-gm Elizabeth Gagel, Oct. 29, 1874., in Ottawa. However, when I found a copy of their marriage license amidst some family papers, I also found a copy of a marriage license for William Schobert and Miss Ellen Anderson. They were married April 1, 1878, in Ottawa, by jp Arthur Lockwood. I do not know the connection between these folks and my g-gparents. Wondering if anyone is related to them and would like a copy of marriage license. Perhaps they can shed some light on the family connection.
