I'm looking for information about my father's family. My father's parents were Frederick Gagnon n. 8/5/1918 in Manchester, NH, d. 9/6/1958 in Aurora, IL (unknown siblings) and Kathleen O'Connell n. 7/13/1917 in Streator, IL, d. 1993 in Lebanon, PA.

Frederick's mother was Alice (unknown surname) and his father was Elose (we're not sure of the spelling) Gagnon and Elose's siblings were Urbain Gagnon and Odelia (Gagnon) Verville. Their parents were Edmund Gagnon and Elmire (unknown surname). Does anyone have information about this family? Evidently my grandpa Fred had a falling out with his parents as a boy and was instead raised by his aunt Odelia. Dad always knew her as his grandma, although she was really his great aunt. Dad also says his father claimed they were cousins of Rene Gagnon (flagraiser), but I can't find a definite connection--just the Gagnon name, similar physical features, and the Manchester, NH location.
