To all,
I have been trying to unscramble the Gailey/Gealy/Galey et al families of Colonial-era Pennsylvania for a number of years. Here are very brief summaries of those early families. I have an idea that most, if not all, of them came to PA from Ulster, and that they originated on the Isle of Bute, Scotland, though I can't prove any of the Bute-Ulster connections.
The intent of this posting is to get all these names in one place so we can determine who is working on what families, to identify other connections to families that are not currently being researched, and to establish connections to early families outside of PA.
