Laud thats my hometown and i was told by mu auntie that the last name been changed so many times in south and north carolina she xplained that a man name thomas gilliard had a great big planation in south carolina and name out relatives last name gilyard and gillyard since that was the popular last name some could not spell and went by jilyard/ not sure if we all are related but we are had our reunion in albany ga. july 9 thu 11 and its was a blast about 30 new showed up with a total of 140.00 next year will be hosted by diane gilayrd who is first cousin with clarence gilyard who played in the movies like austin texas ranger
