YOUNGSTOWN – Mrs. Alberta Goods, 97, departed this life Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Goods, affectionately called “Todalot,” was born April 7, 1915, in Cleveland, a daughter of Charles A. and Rebecca Gainer.

A devoted homemaker, Alberta was a former member of the Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and working with children.

She leaves to cherish, her beloved memory, two children, Sandra Ginger Goods of Youngstown, Ohio and Leslie Jennings Jr. of Lorain, Ohio; four siblings, Adele Brown, Paul Gainer and Mary Stevens, all of Cleveland, Ohio and Rebecca Gainer of Arizona; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George, who passed away in 1984; and 12 sisters and brothers.
Services will be Friday, April 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, Youngstown, OH
Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
