I recently signed up out of curiosity to see if I could find information on both sides of my family - I'm likely the 4th generation born in America and was hoping to determine which parts of Italy my family is from. The family I know lived in Brooklyn & Staten Island, NY & my grandparents were born in NY in the 1920's. If you are from NYC and have family that may be related, please contact me. I know a few names of people on my father's side that may narrow down the search, but I dont have much info.
