Thank you Graham, I would be grateful for any names you can give me - the 3 brothers do seem to have had a great many children between them. I do not know how far you have got in tracing your grandfather's history but I notice that his grandfather on his mother's side (Joseph Hallows Robinson)is mentioned in other threads on this site. He seems to have had an unfortunate ending. Do you have any info on it.
