Thanks so much for your reply and of course there was information there that I did not yet have. I have a lot more information on the succeeding Gallahans than I do on the older generations. I do as much research at RELIC as I can, when I am back east. And yes, there are Gallahans buried in Pr. Wm. Co. I have seen some in at least one cemetery that I can recall. There is an old one, which used to be in a church yard and the church is long gone. It is located at the intersection of Joplin and Aden Rds. in Independent Hill. Joplin is accessed off of Rt. 234, at least at one end and that's the way I usually approach it. I know Joplin also goes further and ends up somewhere else but I haven't gone that way. Have you accessed Ron Turner's books where he lists cemeteries in Pr. WM. Co? That is partly where I got some of my information. Also, I have talked to Wilbur Gallahan, who lives in Chester, Maryland, I believe it is. I talked to him last year. He was born in 1918 when his family was living in Mt. Rainier, Md. It was his family that was listed in the 1920 Census as having Lillian and her daughter living with them. His father was French Gallahan. I believe Pearl Dougles might be buried in the Woodbine Baptist Cemetery.... again it's located right on Rt. 234 out of Manassas. I've been there and there may be other Gallahans there, not sure.
Hope this helps. I know that Ron Turner's cemetery/burials book is a good source for this.
