I hope you have received the e-mails I sent you. If not, Many thanks for the pictures and other family information you sent. I have just mailed you a packet including a picture of Phoebe Gandy Galland, and other miscellaneous information. I wondered why the Gandy's names were in David's justice of the peace book, when he served in Iowa. So am glad to know the case was in Ohio. It was dated 1825, when David lived in Ohio, and yesterday I found both Henry H. and Abijah Gandy in Union County, Ohio in the 1820 and 1830 census. Abijah was Phoebe's grandfather, and Henry her father, and they were David's in-laws then.I am looking forward to receiving copies of the letters
from Martha Jane's sisters. I am in contact with descendants of Tamson Galland, and I know they will be interested in the letters.
