My Great Grandfather was James H. Lane. He married Mary's sister Nancy J. Flowers. Both familes left texas together in a covered wagon in either 1895 or 1899 and lived for a few years in Chickasaw Nation before moving on to Meeker in Lincoln county in OK. Willie and Johnny Gallaway,on horseback, drove their cattle and Jim Lane's cattle with them.

I wish I could find out more about Jim Lane and Nancy J. Flowers. i don't know for sure where Jim is buried and I don't know when or where Nancy died or where she was buried. I would really like to know this. i want to go see their graves and find the lane farm where my family lived before all except Claude left for california. I have no more family living
