Not sure about the spelling of the names, but I have the death record of Madro Gallegos. He was shot by his son-in-law, Luis Madril, the first husband of Beatrice. Luis spent most of his life in the state pen in Colorado. My husband and I were able to go there and obtained photos of Luis, so I now know what he looks like. I also have information on the shooting from the newspaper. I just do not know what happened to Madro's wife. I know she was still in Del Norte in the 1920 census.
