My great grandfather Alexander Ogilvy married Margaret Gellion (or Gallion) probably in the 1840's. Their son Arthur Gellion Ogilvy was born in Demerera, West Indies, in 1865. They moved to Roseau, Dominica, and lived in St. George's. Mrs. Ogilvy may have been a school teacher at one time. She was half West Indian, and eventually owned a hotel in Roseau called Mrs. Ogilvy's. Apart from my grandfather Arthur, there were two daughters, Grace and Alexa, who married a Mr. Agar and Mr. Frampton respectively My great grandfather's family originated from Ayr in Scotland. Are there any surviving members of the Gallion family who can tell me anything about my great grandmother please?
