Hi Kathy

The testing that I've had done was the new non gender spacific test that Ancestry is currently using in it's beta form. Is that compatible with the program that you are using or would I need to have another series of tests done specific to the Galyan dna project? I don't believe that the raw data from the current test series is available at the present time but I understand it will be made available in the future.

My William Galyan b 1791 NC seems to have been a bit of a recluse as well as a rolling stone making it difficult to pin him down prior to 1850. I descend from his youngest son James M. Galyan but I'm sure there must have been more children that moved on or stayed put before the early records I have for him.

Drop me a line at galswen@aol.com if you like.
