My wife is originally from Greene County near Willard. Her great grandfather was married to Elizabeth Gallion, second marriage was to Elizabeth Crumpley. In the Springfield library is information about Daniel G. and her. I have a copy if you cannot get one. He was one of the first settlers, and there are several articles about him. My wife's grandfather lived in Ebenezer where my grandfather and Margaret Ellen Kimmons decided to move to Kansas in a covered wagon. There were several other Gray's.
