Turns out I had more information on this family than I knew. I had researched Mortimer and John`s brother Patrick at one time in relation to a Breen family I was looking at. Patrick married Mary Keating in 1876 in Indianapolis and they had seven children, all of whom reached adulthood. I didn`t realize that it was your Patrick. I have a lot of information on them. John`s daughter Florence was maid of honor at the wedding of Patrick`s daughter Gertrude Gallivan to Patrick Breen in 1917. Her sister Edith, married to James McKenna, was also present at the wedding. I don`t see their brother John anywhere in Indianapolis, but there were a couple of other Johns here.

The artistic arrangement of palms made a pretty decoration for the wedding of Miss Gertrude Gallivan and P. J. Breen, which was celebrated at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral at 9 o'clock yesterday morning when the service was read by the Rev. Alphonsus Smith. An organist played a program of nuptial airs as the guests were gathering and the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin was played for the processional. Edward LaShelle sang "Ave Maria" The bride was in a burgandy suit trimmed with Kolinsky fur and hat to match and her flowers were Ophelia roses. Miss Florence Gallivan, cousin of the bride, as maid of honor wore a blue suit and silver lace hat and Mrs Aaron Ward roses. After the ceremony there was a wedding breakfast at the home of the brides mother, Mrs. Mary Gallivan, 2152 North Illinois street. Mrs. William Spencer of New York and Mrs James McKenna of Mt Carmel, Ill., were among the guests. Mr and Mrs. Breen have gone to Florida for a wedding trip and will be at home with the bride`s mother after Dec. 15.
