Sandy,
Thank you for checking. I agree the Galloway's weren't inventive with their names! It is a bit daunting when you have Davids, James, Johns, Georges, etc in many generations but of course the middle names were not never recorded on birth records or census records! If you happen to run across a, John Thomson, George Agnew, Andrew Gourlay, Elsie Gourlay, Ann Anderson Agnew, David, or a William Galloway, please let me know. They would have been the ages of your Father's Uncles and Aunts. For the generation your Father belongs in, the only Galloway children I know of are David, William Speed, Andrew Agnew, George Arnott, Archibald Speed, John, and James Agnew (all had left Kirkcaldy by the end of 1928). Since they left just before your Father was born, I knew it was a long shot foryour Father to know of them. I do know they had a cousin named Sarah Ann Galloway who remained in Scotland. I know that they would have also had cousins with the last name of McIntosh who remained there as well. Thank you again for checking and thank your Father as well.
Take Care,
Gwyn
