Although my maternal Grandfather Galluccio lived in Brooklyn, NY, he came from a village called Tufino (sp.?) near Naples. His name was Domenic (Domenico) and until the last few years I never heard of anyone else with that name. He was born in the late 1800's and came to NY at age 17. I found the ship's manifest on the Ellis Island website.

So, perhaps they were related way back. Wish I could be of more help.
