Parents: Daniel Gallwey, b. 1832, Conakilty, County Cork, IR; came to San Francisco, CA; 1852 located to Virginia City, NV, where he was a miner. He died, 16 Aug 1885, Virginia City, NV. Daniel married Miss Ellen Hickey, who was born in Limerick in 1834 and died in Virginia City, NV, 31 Jan 1885. Children: Harry A.; Margaret (Mrs. James Farrell), Butte, MT; William, who died in Butte, MT, 1899; Daniel, who died in infancy.

Harry A. attended schools in Virginia City, NV; in 1886 located to Reno, NV, for a year and returned to Virginia City. In 1895 came to Butte, MT, returned to Virginia City for a year, then returned to Butte.

Harry was married twice: In 1895, San Francisco, Harry married Miss Georgia Brophy, born in Virginia City, NV, and died in 1911 in Oconomowoc, WI. No children. On 12 Jul 1913, Harry married Mrs. Mary (Fagin) Kennedy, born in Salt Lake City, UT. No children

Harry Galwey died in Dec 1942, Butte, MT.
