I am trying to find sources of proof re:
whether MARY GALPIN b. 02 Sep 1749 in Middletown,
CT or 21 October 1753 in Middletown,
Middlesex, CT., is dau. of CALEB(II) or of
SAMUEL(III), both grandsons of SAMUELI)
GALPIN b. 1650 New Haven, CT.
I have info from The Galpin Family in
America by Wm. Freegrace Galpin(where both
Marys are listed, from Desc. of Stephen Hart
by Andrews, History and Genealogy of the
Families of Old Fairfield, Vol I, plus
various postings from the GenForums, LDS
sites, FTM listings, etc. but am still
unable to resolve conflicting info. Any help
would be much appreciated and I would be
