I am a Galvan also and have a family tree in Ancestry.com. Galvan is of Irish descent and means the Handsome One. My Galvan people came from Ireland to Spain then to Mexico and settled in Santa Fe Del Rio Michoacan de Ocampo Mexico before arriving to the USA in 1920s and settled in Turlock, CA in the 1930s. My Grand parent's are Sebastian Galvan and Esther Sisneros Galvan. Sebastian's parents were Remijio and Andrea Floras Galvan. and Remijio parent's were Ramon and Delores Caratachia Galvan all from Santa Fe Del Rio Michoacan de Ocampo Mexico.
