Hello Agnes...A friend of yours, Carol B., sent me some details on Carl T.(Thomas) Galyon. Carl T. is the son of Daniel and Ida Mae Scott Galyon of Knox Co., TN. Carl T. was born ca. 1892 in Chattanooga which was where Daniel and Ida Mae were living at the time. Daniel was raised by foster parents as his father, Joshua Galyon, died in the Civil War as a POW at Andersonville Prison in Georgia. I sent Carol some additional information which I'm sure she'll share with you. I am interested in any photographs you have of Carl T. and, of course, Daniel. I would be willing to bear the cost of obtaining copies. I keep a scrapbook of photos from various Galyon/Gallion lineages.
