All I know is she was killed in their grocery store in Palestine. Leonard wasn't killed and the police think he may have killed her but not enough proff. In 1899, she is living with Fred alone in Palestine close to her sister, Amelia Brule. Amelia is my G Grandmother. I have a lot of info on Fred Gamba and his family. Yetta shows her name on the 1880 census as Henrietta Richard. She is living with the Neves family in Grayson co, TX. This explains why she and Leonard were married in Denison while he lived in Corsicana, They all knew each other in Elmira, NY Gamba, Nevers and all the other families were aquainted there. Yetta had Fred out of wedlock. He may have been Gamba's real son and this is why he followed her to Texas. Just a guess.
