Emma died in Marshfield (Coos Bay) in 1886. Thomas Sherman died from consumption in 1913. William H. died in Tucson in 1908 & was buried in the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery. Also in the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery are Sherman Gamble, d, 1921, two infants of Frank, d. 1894 & ?, and Vince.

I am the cemetery coordinator (volunteer) with the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery in Coos Bay, Oregon. I have worked on a database that compiles whatever information we have available about the people who are buried there. Since the cemetery adjoins Marshfield High School, we hope to involve students as much as possible. Although we don't actively research ancestors, we do think that details about the people help students appreciate the cemetery.
