Is anyone missing a Robert GAMBLE born around 1800? We don't know were here came from. But I believe he came to Australia around 1820 as a free man on board the "Surry" which sailed originally from Cork, Ireland. Ended up in Albany, Western Australia, but know nothing of his earlier life. Do you have a Robert GAMBLE that disappears as a young lad, going to sea, maybe whaling? It would be great to hear from anybody, anywhere, who may have a connection.
