Hi Arlene, I was born Donna Gamble, in my tree, the gambles are a very difficult to track, my grandmother told me they moved around alot, in every generation I have there is a James, each one of their children named a son James also, see how hard they made this, my orginal is William and wife Eleanor, came from N. Ireland, came to Quebec with a least 9 children
James, William,Robert all tinsmiths like their father, John and Richard who died at birth, girls-Catherine Brown(which is their mother's maiden name,this is how it was done)Sarah, Eleanor Brown,Mary, Rachel. Their first and middle names can be switched, don't know why.
