Does anyone know a story of three brothers coming to the states most likley thru New york. Two through error ended up with the surname of Gamble and one stayed Gammel. one supposedly stayed in New york (my line), one moved to Pennsylvania (also Gamble), and the last traveled to California (Gammel). i beleive they came from Ireland probably between 1850 and 1863 (speculation on my part based on family stories. Any info is appreciated.
