I am searching for information on my maternal g. grandparents. Great grandfather Edward Gable. His parents names were HENRY GAMBLE & GEORGIANNA BLACKWELL. HENRY,was an English soldier. And supposingly, Georgianna BLACKWELL(1851-1929) was most likely a East Indian. They moved to North Adams, and then to New Bedford (Dartmouth,Ma.) area were she is burried. There is a HENRY GAMBLE ( THOMAS WHATMORE) name change. I heard it was because he entered the British army. Not sure,facts are sketchy. Please email me if you are connected in anyway.
