Anybody out there who can help?

I'm Ed Gamboa from San Diego, California, USA. My father, Pedro Gamboa Jr. was born in San Carlos, Negros Occidental, Philippines. His father, Pedro Gamboa, Sr., migrated from Spain (Madrid?)around 1910-15.

Pedro Sr. settled in the Philippines with his two brothers, Pablo Juan, and started the Hacienda Gamboa in Negros Occidental.

I've learned that Gamboa means "land, farm" and is of Basque origin. I'm interested in tracing my grandfather's ancestry. If anyone has any useful information, please let me know.
