Gamm – Schlickau Wedding
A pretty Wedding was celebrated last Thursday afternoon, December 24th, at the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gamm was that of their daughter Cela and Mr. Walter Schlickau. Just the nearest relatives and a few friends were present and they were met at the door by Miss Lucy Gamm who took their wraps and showed them into the parlor, which was decorated with Chrysanthemums and evergreens.
Miss Mary Delfts played the wedding march and the bridal party, were attended by Miss Lucy Gamm as bridesmaid, and Mr. Louis Hillmer as best-man, entered the parlor preceded by Rev. Eudter, who performed the short, but impressive ceremony based on th23 Psalm and joined the young couple in holy wedlock.
The bridegroom was dressed in the conventional black, while the bride was tastefully attired in a costue of brown silk.
The bride has lived near Inman during her entire life and is loved by every one who knows her. The groom is well and favorably known around Have.
They have the congratulations and the best wishes of a host of friends for a happy and prosperous journey through life.
