Does anyone have any knowledge of an A A Gammage who was a witness at the marriage of a Dennis George Tilt and Mavis Povah in 1944, Grangetown, Sunderland, Co Durham, England.

Both Dennis and Mavis were serving in the forces, R.A. and A.T.S., respectively and may well have been part of the crew manning the heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery at Grangetown/Leechmere.

It is also possible that A A Gammage, and another witness, H Wallbank, were also serving in the forces there.

The address of Dennis and Mavis at the time is `Grange Farm`, which is now a garden nursery.

Any help/ino, gratefully accepted.

Regards,

Jim
