Hello. I am seeking any info on the Gammel Family of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I have the following surnames, Obediah, Elijah, Elizabeth, Susanna, Mary, Maria, Ann. They were living in Bedminster, Bucks County, PA in the 1850 and 1860 Census.

Christian Gammel b. 1827-28 Wurttemberg Germany married to Christine Walz b. 1828 in Wurttemberg Germany had the following children: Frederick Gammel 1856-1932, Caroline b. 1857, and William b. 1863.

I'm searching info on a grandmother to my step children.
Her name at birth was Georgia Lilly Gammel (spelling ???).
She was adopted and her name changed to Arlis Virginia Newton (or vice versa???)
She married James B. Patterson and lived in Pryor OK at the time of her death.
Her mom was Cora Gammel (real or adopted, I'm not sure yet. A date associated with Cora is 3-11-1896 (birth or death?)
Cora's mother was listed as Emma Lee Gammel with a date associated with her of, 3 - 11- 1869 (dates similar, with the 1896 - 1869 transposed) so I'm unsure if any of it is right.
Do you have these names in your database?

Obituary – John Gammel/Gammell (1830 - 1898)

Death of Mr. John Gammel.

Mr. John Gammell died at his late home in Jordan township last Thursday afternoon, Oct. 20. He had been in bad health since the first of last May but was confined to his home for about a month and to his bed some two weeks. The deceased was born in North Ireland, Sept. 11, 1830, and came to this country early in life, making his first stopping place in Rhode Island, where he arrived in the spring of 1848. Here he was married on the 29th of May, 1850, to Miss Jane Overend. They moved from Rhode Island to Madison, Wis., in March, 1858, and In July, 1864, came to Minnesota, and settled in Jordan township, Fillmore county. When he located in this state, besides his strong hands and industrious habits his only property consisted of an ox team and his household goods. Mr. Gammell followed the occupation of a farmer as a business, acquiring a respectable fortune, most of which was in landed property in Fillmore county. His wife, six sons and one daughter survive him all of whom continue to reside in Fillmore county, the boys being among the most thrifty farmers of the county. The children are William, George, Charles, Mary, wife of William Hutton, Jr., Walter, Robert , and Samuel. The funeral took place from his late residence, Oct. 28, the services being conducted by Rev. D. A. Tawney of Clarment. The interment was in the Chatfield cemetery. — Chatfield Democrat.

My Father was Jesse Pritchard Gammel and his father was Jesse Pritchard Gammel, they both were born in or around Montrose, Ark. My Great Grandfather was William Lawrence Gammel, Born 1864 in ALA. Died 8-22-1942 in Ark. He and Odem (Orpha) Chambers had 7 Children. My GG Grandfather was John William Gammel, born in GA (according the Ark 1860 census) April 18, 1838 and died July 30, 1880. He was married to Molly E. Pritchard. I the fall I visited the Mt. Olive and New Troy Cem. and photographed the headstones. MY GGGGrandfather was George L. Gammel fomr in GA about 1814 or 1812 (1860 Ark. census) died 1891 Springdale, Ark. According to other information William Gammel would have been my GGGGGrandfather and he was born about 1790 and married in GA to Elizabeth Loftise or Loften or Loflin. Other think that William Gammel' father was thomas Gammel, Sr. born about 1770 Any of these related to yours? Were the Gammels German? Any info would be welcomed

Sorry, I from what I know my side of the Gammels moved from Georgia, through Alabama, to Drew County Arkansas in the late 50's. Shortly thereafter, they moved to a small community named Berea, Arkansas. I can't find any reference to living in Miss. or an Ollie. Sorry

i'm looking for my father's aunt ollie gammel, not sure if gammel was her married name or not. i think she was from ponotoc.co.ms. and then moved to monroe,co.ms. this was in the 1940's and she was a old lady then. so i'm guessing she was in on the white's side, or maybe griffen,bagwell,ferguson.. i'm just not sure.
could use some help with this.

by C. H. "Harrison" Gammel. His real last name is Pollock.

John Peter Gammel was the first to leave russia and come to america .he landed in the u.s. at Brokenhead area,later called Lydiatt,near Beause(j?ow) manitobia in 1898(not your 1875,as Phillip would have only been a year old)
Peter and Mary ,and thier son Adam came to america in 1902 or 1905 the dates vary through history.They later moved to Winnipeg,Manitobia,Canada then to Hodgevill,Sask,then to Morse,Sask,Canada.Adam was married in Winnipeg.Henry came to Canada about 1916 he never found his family even when his brothers were in Hodgeville since 1907.There are alot of GAMMELs buried in Morse,Sask,Canada.

I'm looking for any info on the GAMMEL line .my gr gr grandfather Henry Gammel ,his wife Katherine? their son Adam(b;may2 1887) his wife Bejada (Be Ada) Nein(b;sep 25 1892)were all born in Russia. They came to Canada ,but don't know when.Adam and Bejada's children were: Ester(b;1913?),Victor(b;1914)((my grandfather)),William(Bill)(b;1916),Ted(b;1919),Kattie(b;1922),and Bertha(b;1924).
Bejada's father was Constine Nein,her mother's name was katherine
Victor lived in Meadow Lake,Saskatchewan,Canada,where he passed away in1975.

Unknown Mr. Rohrig married Unknown Miss Gammel. Their son Manuel Rohrig, b. 8-5-1907, married Amalia Geringer, b. 1-16-1910.
Their daughter Lillian Rohrig, married Alexander Geringer, b. 3-24-1912.
At this point, I don't have any locations, except Russia, and perhaps Colorado or California.

Hello there, how are you? The reason i replid is i'm doing a little family tree of my own. Now your mothers name caught
my attention. Did she by any chance have any brothers or half brother? if so was any of them called Joe harold Gammel? if so he is my father- in-law.
