I am looking for information about John E. Gandee (Gandy) who was born 21 March 1859 (don't know where) and died about 1944 in Denver, Co. His wife was Sarah E. Shineflew who was born Aug. 1865 in Salem, Nebraska. They had a daughter named Mae Samantha who was born around 1891 in Salem, NE. Mae's other siblings may include Amelia, Hattie, Olivia, Arthur, Joseph, Robert, and Roy. John & Sarah Gandee (Gandy) lived in Nebraska before moving to Colorado around 1895. Mae Gandy went on to marry William F. Wise and had a daughter named Lila Marie Wise. Supposedly, Mae died while giving birth to Lila. Lila then grew up with her grandparents John & Sarah Gandee. Lila is my great-grandmother, yet we cannot find ANY information about her roots. Please help if you can! Thank you!
