My gggrandmother was also Eliza Caroline Gandy (1852). My only issue with Booka Gandy's Father being Brinkley Gandy (1742) is that I have a copy of his pension statement and he claimed to have come to Darlington after the war was over in 1783. Booka would have been 12 years old. maybe the pension statement was off. Not sure. Let me know if you can help.
