My husband's father Phillip came to this country around 1910. He lived in St. Louis, Detroit (where my husband was born)New London, Conn and Providence, RI. He had some family in NYC - One of which was a Rabbi P. Shachacter of Park Place, Brooklyn. No other information is known other than he was born in Austria/Poland in 1899. Do we have a connection? Supposedly all Gangs are related.
