NELLIE JANE RICE TAKEN BY DEATH

Death claimed Mrs. Nellie Jane RICE early Monday at her home here in Oroville. She was 54.

Mrs. Rice, widow of the late Ernest RICE, Western Pacific railroad employe, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Russell Hayes of Chico; a son, Gilford S. Rice of Oroville, three brothers, Lester Gannett and Ray Gannett, both of Oroville; Elwin Gannett of Modesto and a sister, Letha Uischner of Mason City. There is a surviving grandson also.

Funeral services are pending at Hamilton and Riley's.

NELLIE JANE RICE RITES ARE SET

Funeral services for Nellie jane RICE, 54, who died at her home in Orovile Monday will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hamilton and Riley's.

The Rev. Mr. Maurice deVries will officiate. Burial will be in the Gridley-Biggs cemetery.
