RAY E. GANNETT
Ray E. Gannett, 59, of Oroville, died on May 14, 2005 in Oroville. He was born on Oct. 4, 1945, in Oroville, to Lester and Wilma Gannett.
He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was also the manager of Bidwell Marine, retiring in 2001. He loved walking, fishing, reading and exercising.
He is survived by his wife, Evalyn Gannett of Oroville, whom he married on June 11, 1985; sisters, Dora Rose and Dona Keith, both of Oroville; sister-in-law Marji Ong of Biggs; mother-in-law Marjorie James of Biggs and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors provided by Oroville Veterans Honor Guard
