MARGARET GANNETT
OROVILLE -- A funeral for Margaret A. Gannett, 87, of Oroville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Scheer Memorial Chapel.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995, in an Oroville care home.
She was born Dec. 13, 1907, in Sharon, N.D.
Mrs. Gannett had lived in Oroville for 55 years. She was a charter member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Oroville and had served as a deacon and elder. She also belonged to the United Presbyterian Women's Organization.
A homemaker, Mrs. Gannett served as a volunteer Pink Lady at the Oroville hospital for many years. She was a member of the American Legion in North Dakota and the VFW Auxiliary in Oroville.
Her husband, Ray, died in 1960.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Hillborn of Oroville; a sister, Dorothy Heath of Sharon, N.D.; two brothers, Alex Curry of Sharon and Charles Curry of Orovilloe; and atwo granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Memorial Park
