I found the baptismal record for Stephen Price Gano here on Ancestry. His father was Stephen Rittenhouse Gano and his mother was Mary Lely Vanartsdalen. It was Stephen R. who was in the Civil War. Stephen P. was the younger brother of Anna Mary Gano, our mutual ancestress. -- Anne
