I will be glad to share my research. My first reply to this inquiry was apparently lost in the transcription; will try again.

If you send me your E-mail address, I will forward the 38 page file on John Ganstine, which include some information on Elizabeth Adeline Ganstine who married Isom Minton, 21 January 1871.

Elizabeth Adeline was the daughter of Christian and Angeline Treseurite Ganstine. Christian was the son of John and Huldah Bostwick Ganstine.

This file lists Elizabeth Adeline in the 1860 and 1870 Census in Indiana and a copy of her marriage certificate. I have not located her in census after 1880 as Elizabeth or Adeline Minton. There is more information on her mother, Angeline including the 1880 Census, her marriage and death records. Christian Ganstine served in the Civil War and died in battle in Nashville. This file includes files from the National Archive of Angeline's pension application and correspondance. There also are land transaction records for her and Christian.

My mother was Lela May Ganstine, decended from Truman Ganstine, a brother of your Christian. Garland D. Vinyard
