Your grandfather, Thomas Porter Gant, was married to Elizabeth Ann Downs from Abbeville, Ms. Your mother, Hallie, had five brothers and sisters as I remember. Their names are as follows: Georgia, Clifton, jerry, marvel, and one other brother who got killed in Oxford. i want to say his name was bobby or someting. I cant remember. Your mothers family was raised around coles point i guess on Sardis lake. Most of Thomas Porters brothers and sisters was from there anyway.
I know something about all of them if you ever care to know. I am 69 years old, so if yu want to know about them, you need tohurry, cause my time is running out fast. LOL.....
