Gantt's in Georgia
I know this is a long shot. In fact a very long shot. I just found a historical record from the Huxford Library in Homerville, GA showing my great-great grandmother had a sister who married a Gantt and moved from Georgia to N.C.
It doesn't state the sisters first name but the last name is Ivey or Ivy. My Great Great Grandmother was EdeyAn (Edith Ann) Ivey there was another sister named Rhoda. There was a Joseph Ivey living with them at one point who I thought was a brother but according to the found document, there were no brohters only the 3 sisters.
Does anyone have a ancestor who married an Ivey lady from Georgia?
