Gantt's in Georgia

I know this is a long shot. In fact a very long shot. I just found a historical record from the Huxford Library in Homerville, GA showing my great-great grandmother had a sister who married a Gantt and moved from Georgia to N.C.
It doesn't state the sisters first name but the last name is Ivey or Ivy. My Great Great Grandmother was EdeyAn (Edith Ann) Ivey there was another sister named Rhoda. There was a Joseph Ivey living with them at one point who I thought was a brother but according to the found document, there were no brohters only the 3 sisters.

Does anyone have a ancestor who married an Ivey lady from Georgia?
Willis Gant

Looking to move farther up the Gant line on my family tree but I cannot get anywhere farther than Willis Gant (sorry no middle name found yet). He was born 7/23/1782 and died 9/23/1865. He was married to Nancy DeHaven. Ironically I can find a picture of his headstone in Iowa, but unable to find out who his parents were.

Any help would be great!

My name is Paulette Williams Grant and my mother was named Millie Gant Williams. I have a picture of her father but no name. She talked about having a brother named Herman but they did not have the same mother. I found a Herman Gant in the 1910 census and the father was Willie Edwin Gant. The only thing I have to link this man with my mother is the brother named Herman and the town in which they lived in or near and that is Franklin, Louisiana and Patterson, Louisiana. I am not sure that your information is of any help to me but I would certainly appreciate any infor, if any, that you may have if any of these names are there.
