If I remember correctly you are a descendant of Thomas John Gantt (1795-1860). I am a descendant of his brother William Johnson Gantt(1800-1895). Have you seen the portriat of Thomas John Gantt that is in the possession of the descendants of his first child, Thomas Wilding Gantt, by his first wife, Eliza Fell? There also exists three portriats of Judge Richard Gantt. I am in possession of one of them. Another is in the hands of a descendants of Richard Allen Gantt (1797-1874)and the last is a terrible copy of the this portrait hanging in the Edgefield County Court House in Edgefield, SC.

If you have a copy of the portriat of Thomas John Gantt, I would be interested in getting a copy if you wouldn't mind.
