My name is Rita. My mother's name is Alzira(Tabiadon)Ganz, born in Molino, a village of Falcade, Italy in 1929. My father's name is Graziano Ganz(nickname-Tolly). He was a bricklayer mason and was born (1926-1999) on the south side of Chicago.

Carolina Tabiadon, who married Albino Ganz, was bone in Canes', a village of Falcade, Italy. Albino was born in Molino, a village of Falcade, Italy. They came to Chicago (southside) in 1922 with my maternal grandfather and Carolina's brother, Vittorio Tabiadon.

Carolina and Albino had 5 kids: Egidio, Armando(lives in Chicago, east side), Alice(lives in Lansing, Illinois) and her married name is DiSanto, and Velma.

Your grandfather, Albino(1892-1951)had 4 siblings: a sister, Valentina, who married Sante Ganz; Luigi, who married Marina; another brother, Giovanni(who was blind and was taught to play the organ) and another sister, whose name we do not recall.(sorry!)

Valentina/Sante had 4 kids: Aurora(the oldest), Sergio (born 1925-26)an electrician, Sante Jr.(born 1930) and Lydia(sp?).

Luigi/Marina had a daughter named Mirella, who married a Mr. Olivieri, a mason contractor and lived on the east side of Chicago. They eventually moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.


Elvino(an electrician), born (1925?), is the son of Frederico Ganz and Pasqua(Scola)Ganz. His siblings are Maria (born 1923-24), Remo (born 1930?) and Armando (born 1932). Elvino and Maria were born in Falcade, Italy(which village, we are not sure). He is probably a distant relative of yours as Ganz is, I read, the most common name in Falcade, Italy.
