I have just started to research my g.grandparents history that traces back to Genoa in the late 1800's. I am not having much luck in locating any records. I know Charles Garbarino came here as a single man, probably in his late 20s or early 30s. He came through Ellis Is. in NY and moved to Youngstown OH. Shortly after he moved to Philadelphia PA and married Louisa, last name unknown. They settled in Vineland, NJ and spent the rest of their lives on Wood Street. Louisa was widowed and she was his second wife. She had two children from her first marriage, names unknown. They had four children together: Mary, Julie, Joeseph and the other unknown. Joseph Garbarino was my grandfather who died in Vineland, NJ in 1971. If any one has any information/leads or tips, it would be greatly appreciated.
