Classification: Query
Surnames: Garbarino, Sanguinette, Canepa, Castagnino
I have been researching my Sanguinette Family and have started down the Garbarino branch of our family tree.
My ggg-grandfather was Pietro Sanguinette from Genoa, Italy. His two sons, Louis and August B. married Garbarino girls. Louis married Mary Garbarino (1845-1904) around 1865 in St. Louis, MO. They later moved to Colorado. August married Mary Catherina (Kate) Garbarino (1853-1894) on 18 Apr 1870 in St. Louis. This side of the family remained in St. Louis.
Does anyone know if Mary and Mary Catherina were sisters? If so, do you know their parents? I will be glad to share what information I do have on their children.
As a sidebar, Pietro's wife, Rosa Canepa, married a Stephen Castagnino after his death in 1853. If anyone has information on Stephan, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks.
