I am searching for family ties.

My mother's name is Keitha June Garbutt (june 3, 1930)

Her parents were Clarence Isaac Garbutt (January 2, 1896)
and Mary Ann Goodmurphy (August 17, 1904).

Her mother died shortly after childbirth, and she was raised by her materna grandparents.

She has never known anything about her father's family.

Little bit of research that I have done, indicates that her grandfather's name was William Isaac Garbutt, who married twice - Mary Jane Keirl and Agnes May Horlsey.

There were five children - William Walter Garbutt, Frederick Garbutt, Agnes May Garbutt, Harry Arthur Garbutt, and her dad, Clarence Isaac.

She had always thought her family was German, but everything indicates English.

It appears that the family moved to Ontario, Canada in the early 1800's. Robert Garbutt and Mary Hunt seem to be the ones that made the move.

If anyone has any information on this line, I will be eternally grateful.
